Project Management Firm
How do you transition from reactive growth into a more deliberate, consistent growth strategy without losing the key ingredients that have made your company such a success?

A long-term trusted advisor relationship began when this business was growing so fast it was challenging to keep up with the demand. The founding partners had successfully developed it over ten years based on their personal relationships with clients and employees. They didn’t want to lose that going forward. Nor did they want to give up their commitment to their own work/life balance.

To build a 3-year strategy for growing the business, we identified core values, the company mission and a vision of where the partners wanted to be in three years. We looked at client feedback, interviewed employees and met on a regular basis until the elements of the plan resonated with the partners and employees.

Here are some of the activities that have made this on-going relationship such a success:

Monthly

  • Check progress toward the annual goals
  • Adjust as the business changes
  • Keep employees up to date with quick monthly progress reports and a quarterly web-conference

Annually

  • Facilitate an off-site planning session to set leadership goals
  • Survey clients
  • Check in with employees using the Feedback Forum®
  • Develop goals and activities
  • Share the progress and the plan with employees

After three successful years we’re beginning our second planning cycle with a new vision and new energy!
